Brownie with Medina walnuts and Casa Barberá dates

Digital content creator Miriam, known on Instagram as mifitwork, brings us a very simple recipe for a delicious brownie with walnuts and dates.

Ingredientes:

  • 180 g seedless Casa Barberá dates
  • 90 g Medina walnuts
  • 60 g Medina almonds
  • 30 g unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 50 ml coconut oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 30 g honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
  • Pinch of salt

¡A COCINAR!

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Grind the dates to a paste. Then add the walnuts and grind until the mixture is well combined and has a sticky consistency.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the ground almonds, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt.
  4. In another bowl, beat the eggs. Add the melted coconut oil, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract and the date-nut mixture. Mix well until well combined.
  1. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix.
  2. Lightly grease a mould and pour the mixture into the mould and distribute it evenly.
  3. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean. Enjoy!
