Perfect with yoghurt, milk or just as a healthy snack!
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of oats
- 80 g chopped Medina hazelnuts
- 80 g chopped Medina almonds
- 30 g honey or maple syrup
- 50 ml coconut oil or EVOO
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
- Raisins, banana and desiccated coconut to taste
- Pinch of salt
Let's get cooking!
- Take a large bowl and mix the oat flakes, chopped hazelnuts and chopped almonds.
- In a small bowl, mix the honey or maple syrup, EVOO, vanilla extract, and cinnamon powder. Mix well until all liquid ingredients are well combined.
- Pour the liquid mixture over the dry ingredients in the large bowl and stir well with a spoon or spatula to make sure all the dry ingredients are evenly coated.
- Spread the granola mixture in an even layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake the granola in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Stir the granola halfway through.
- Let the granola cool completely on the tray. If you wish, you can add raisins, coconut or dried banana.
